Most memorable moments: what are yours?

Seven, when keeping the Borg children on their daily schedule: "Fun will now commence."

Like a previous poster, most of "Tinker, Tenor, Doctor, Spy."

Opera, Pon'Far'd Tuvok, Doc the Lady-Killer, (Oh no, no, no, no.. >_< ) and, of course:

"Computer: Activate the E.C.H."

Who didn't/ doesn't grin like an eejit as the four Pips appear?

Also: Photonic Cannon ftw!

Oh and, the finale of Counterpoint, as Mahler's 1st Symphony, 2nd Movement is really picking up, Kashyk turns to Janeway and says, "The Bridge is yours."

So many years later, I still think, "Always was boy. Now f*ck off you handsome sod."

Pardon the language. UI broke down!

Plus, bonus: Anything and everything to do with Harry Kim being seduced, shot, stabbed, infected, smacked, embarassed, hurled about and generally mistreated.

Though the biggest insult being the Lit-Voyager continuation ranking him as just... "lieutenant."

Poor sod! :rommie:

The ending of "Living Witness"... when we learn of what the doctor did. How he stood his ground to help correct the misconceptions afoot, then serve to help those aliens by providing his exceptional medical skills for quite some time. Lastly, to depart in an ambitious journey to retrace the route of Voyager and make his way back to the Alpha quadrant.

Of course, this also brings to light a bit of a technical problem in his representation... he had a full backup system, apparently (we know he made it back to the Alpha quadrant aboard Voyager, so this backup module was some kind of active copy--quite a mystery as to how it was lost). So, in essence, this proves that any given incarnation of him being lost is not a complete loss. We were always given the impression that he was like a unique physical item that couldn't be replicated, that his essence is transferred not copied. This episode proves he's like any software program--it can be copied at will and replaced if wiped from the active memory core.

Anyway, the whole episode was terrific. The best one ever written for Voyager, IMHO.

The only odd thing was Arturis having this great quantum slipstream technology and having constructed such an extensive ship... when he's a refugee from a massive Borg attack. Doesn't seem like he'd have enough resources to build such a ship... and what a waste, just for some revenge on the Voyager crew.

He would have needed to already have a ship in order to escape, and we know they were using some kind of advanced hologram technology to disguise the bridge. So maybe the entire external appearance of the ship was just a hologram as well.

Another memorable episode for me was "Hope and Fear". The Dauntless was a seriously impressive ship design. I liked the idea of a more spartan bridge configuration. The ship looks naturally much faster. Curious how Arturis had the means to reconfigure the outer hull of his ship to look more like a Federation ship. The interior was simply disguised with holographic technology, and we saw only the interior transform when Arturis deactivated the simulated controls. But anyway, the whole idea of questioning the siding with species 8472 to destroy a significant portion of the Borg, rather than letting the Borg get wiped out... it was an interesting way to raise it.
