I remember getting a pink purse. It was my first purse and there was something like five dollars inside and I thought it was the best thing ever. My sister got a matching one that Christmas and we carried those around forever.

I'm sure I got better, more expensive gifts, but that was just a very memorable gift.

Yes the Major Matt Mason Space Station (Really a Moonbase)

And a spacecraft to take Matt there..

The Star Seeker..iit was programable by using some plugs, you could control it's direction around the floor...

with Carbon dry-cell batteries, each toy only had about 2 hours run-time before you had to put another set in...so they mostly ran on my imagination..except for special days when I took my pay (for work around the house) to buy more batteries..

But what fun for a child living in Florida, with a Dad who worked for the Space Program....
