Considering that the original series cast considered themselves typecast in their roles for years after Trek, who (across all Trek series) has had the best career post-Star Trek?
There's a few that come to mind. Patrick Stewart had a long-running movie role as Professor X in the X-Men movies as well as his return to stage acting (and was knighted). William Shatner had several starring TV roles in TJ Hooker, TekWar, Boston Legal and **** My Dad Says. Jonathan Frakes had a run of directing and producing movies and TV shows.
