Most disturbing album covers?

:wtf: :vulcan:

Some of the ones here could certainly qualify...

Never has the :borg: smiley been more appropriate than for this:

It sounds like a sequel to "Remember You're A Womble." :bolian:

Either that, or it takes inspiration from the "Respect The Cock" speech from Magnoila. :D

I won't post it here as doing it would be dubious as per board rules and decency.

But the cover of Scorpion's "Virgin Killer" which depicts a naked pre-pubescent girl in a somewhat "come hither" pose.

I always thought that the cover art of The Moody Blues albums "On the Threshold of a Dream" and "In Search of the Lost Chord" were disturbing (in an evocative manner). I think the only way to truly see that art work (for all that they were) is on the original LP covers.

Slayer- Hell Awaits

 Love that one

So the Scorpions have always sucked at album covers?

Still can't believe anyone ever thought "Virgin Killer" was a good idea.

Some of the ones here could certainly qualify...

I kind of like this one:

It has a hint of badassery.

J.
He kind of looks like JR "Bob" Dobbs of the Church Of The Subgenius.

Kissinger is going to kick your ass, in a dapper and badass manner.

Kind of reminds me a little bit of Spinal Tap's original concept for Smell the Glove

I had to Google Virgin Killer. That cover is all kinds of messed up! Wikipedia says that the 10 year old naked girl was either the daughter or niece of that sick bastard that came up with the concept for the cover. That is just wrong on so many levels...

You think these are bad?

This has got to be the most tasteless thing... ever.

I mean, first off, what a title. Then read the rest of what it says. Yes... It's real.

The National Enquirer outdid its own tastelessness when they paid one of Elvis' own cousins to sneak a camera to take a picture of Elvis in his coffin (their top-selling issue of all time).

And yet, this grotesque compilation disc made the famous National Enquirer cover look tasteful.

Thanks; I lost my dinner

I had this one the back was better you could see more :drool: ;)

The original cover art for the album depicted a naked ten-year-old girl named Jaqueline, with a shattered glass crack effect obscuring her genitals. The image was designed by Steffan Böhle, who was then the product manager for RCA Records. Francis Buchholz was the bassist for the band and, in an interview conducted in early 2007, recollects that the model depicted on the cover was either the daughter or the nice of "the guy who did the cover design." The photograph was taken by Michael von Gimbut.

The band's rhythm guitarist.Rudolf Schenker offers the following description of the circumstances behind the album cover: "We didn't actually have the idea. It was the record company. The record company guys were like, 'Even if we have to go to jail, there's no question that we'll release that.' On the song 'Virgin Killer', time is the virgin killer. But then, when we had to do the interviews about it, we said 'Look, listen to the lyrics and then you'll know what we're talking about. We're using this only to get attention. That's what we do.' Even the girl, when we met her fifteen years later, had no problem with the cover. Growing up in Europe, sexuality, of course not with children, was very normal. The lyrics really say it all. Time is the virgin killer. A kid comes into the world very naive, they lose that naiveness and then go into this life losing all of this getting into trouble. That was the basic idea about all of it
