Most Beautiful Woman?

Well, to each their own. I can't really explain it myself, but I found Sam really attractive. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that she has a more down-to-earth kind of beauty. When surrounded by bombshells, sometimes something different is nice.

In the absence of an official poll, these are current front-runners from thread so far:

Terry Farrell
Jeri Ryan
Marina Sirtis
Nicole de Boer
Jolene Blalock
Sherry Jackson

We should give very serious thought to starting a new thread with a poll, with those finalists--with an "other" option, of course.

With any luck, the mods will merge it with this one....

I remember the last time this was done seriously. Someone went through and did it by season to get the most attractive actress and then from those winners a final poll for the ultimate winner for that series. The series winners than had a face off for the ultimate champion. The thread might still be around.

Found it. Sorry, it was actually just guest actresses. Some of the season threads are still around if you search for them to see who the semi-finalists were. Sadly the polls are gone so we can see how the votes were spread or even who won in the end.

Anyway, if you do a poll some of the names in the final showdown probably should be added to try and limit "Other" winning.

Tomboyish? Only in the MU....

Prime Ezri--well, maybe her hair is short, but she's pretty darn feminine, if you ask me....

It's funny you should say so, because I actually thought the only time Nicole/Ezri had any sex appeal on the show was in her mirror universe episode.

I think it was a combination of her longer, more feminine hairstyle, her decadent excess make-up, her vaguely leather badass outfit, and most of all, her tough, blunt, and assertive attitude. For the life of me I can't imagine how anyone could find clumsy, confidence-lacking, demure, and perpetually nervous regular Ezri sexier than that! :p

I just do not get this fanboy obsession with Jeri Ryan. Do not find her face attractive at all. Very generic-looking.
I think she looks plastic. I’ve never understood all the gushing over Janice Rand either. IMHO, Grace Lee Whitney wasn’t that beautiful — with or without that ridiculous wig.

^I'm no polygamist (religious principles)--and if I had to choose, it'd be Ezri Dax. Still, in a holodeck fantasy...Ezri, Janice Rand, and Andrea!

All joking aside, same here on the polygamy, very monogamist actually, though if I went all fundamentalist in my faith I guess I could have a compound...but lets not go there. I think I would pick out of the main cast Ezri as well. As I adore sweetness and Ezri is well, adorable. I like tall, but J. Dax has too much of Curzon in her, I am not sure she would be loyal to her man over a lifetime.

I just do not get this fanboy obsession with Jeri Ryan. Do not find her face attractive at all. Very generic-looking. Nicole De Boer is cute, but too tomboyish to be considered "sexy" or "beautiful".

It's nice to see some praise for Terry here, even if it's just for her looks. She gets put down way too much here, mostly for her acting, although there is the occasional nutjob who calls hers unattractive. :nyah:

Terry is gorgeous, and she not nearly as bad of a actor as some make her out to be. I prefer longer hair but Nicole De Boer since she is smallish can pull of a "Pixie" cut. But lets be honest here, Terry or Nicole are not going to be thrown out for eating crackers in bed. :rommie:

As for Jeri Ryan, I happen to think she a good looking woman, She is a well built women who has enough mass in other places that she doesn't look totally silly.

I agree (with scotpens) on Jeri Ryan. While I'd never call her UNattractive, I find her overly large eyes and lips to be cartoonish. I think she's "kinda pretty" IRL with her hair down and when playing normal people in other shows. But 7 of 9, with the hair pulled back, the vacuum-sealed catsuit and the ice queen attitude was an actual turn-off for me. It made me wonder what kind of sick fettishes Brannon Braga was into, and what serious issues he had with women.

I don't remember the character's name right now or where to find a picture easily, but there was a one-time character in TAS that was an extreme beauty. I think she had long black hair.

Hmm...well, to each his own. MU Ezri is certainly hot...but I would never ask her out. Too afraid of getting a gun pointed at me, with a "Feeling LUCKY, punk?"

For the life of me I can't imagine how anyone could find clumsy, confidence-lacking, demure, and perpetually nervous regular Ezri sexier than that! :p

Well, let's look at those descriptions one-by-one:

Clumsy: Excuse me? How is Ezri clumsy? When has she ever dropped something or pressed the wrong button for being nervous? She may be no Worf, but she's certainly no Barclay, either!

Confidence-lacking: Hmm...maybe in the first handful of eps. But her confidence starts building at the end of "Afterimage"--and in the second half of the season, she's confronting her mother, Worf, Vic Fontaine...Worf again....

Calling Worf a coward to his face is, I would say, a sure sign of confidence.

Demure: Well, it all depends on what the meaning of the word "demure" is, as Ol' Slick Willy would say.

If by "demure", you mean "shy"--Ezri's not shy, unless you count the first couple of eps--and even that's a stretch.

If you mean "Modest, reserved," etc., well...that's actually a good thing. She has principles--she's not out there and overt in her sexuality. Here, you could link it to "innocence".

(Frankly, you could--and I know this seems wierd--you could actually apply this definition to Andrea! Her attire notwithstanding--she actually behaves as if she's unconcious of its effects--her personality indicated Dr. Korby programmed her to have a "demure" element of her personality.)

But yet another definition of "demure" is "affectedly modest or shy especially in a playful or provocative way". I'd say that's "sexy".

Finally, Perpetually nervous. Again...the only time I ever saw this was in the first two or three episodes. At the end of "Afterimage", her confidence level increased.

Absolutely. :techman:

 I'd agree! Still, it's the attitude. Jadzia strikes me at the kind of character who'd do that just to push her limits. Note her constant banters with Worf.

As for Jeri Ryan, I happen to think she a good looking woman, She is a well built women who has enough mass in other places that she doesn't look totally silly.

Yep. She's pysically attractive, absolutely--but Seven had a kind of part Ice-Queen, part smart-aleck attitude that is a bit of a turn-off for me.

Warmth I prefer. :)

I have never quite gotten the "Ezri as a total babe" thing that a lot of fans seem to have. I mean Nicole is cute and Ezri was a fun, quirky little character for the year that she was on, but on the sexy meter I think a lot of other Trek babes have it over her.

Well...we've rarely seen her in sexy situations. When we have...she's shined pretty well. Note her tease of Worf in "Field of Fire" ("You were...worried about me?") and "Penumbra" (the "Klingon Opera" scene--she sure has an excellent "bedroom voice"...). And of course, there are her scenes with Julian in "Dogs of War" (that moment just before the turbolift!) and the finale....

Still--had she been given the amount of opportunities as, say, her predecessor ("I don't feel like talking," while wrapped in nothing but Worf's fur comforter...), a lot more folks would probably agree on her "babe" status.

But again--I suppose, as it stands, it's her "innocent" quality--she doesn't go out of her way to be sexy, and yet she's a bit of a natural, with the occasional look of mischief, a playful gleam in her eyes....

Personally, I'd think her sexiest moment was when, in "Till Death...", she smiles in her dreams and whispers, "Kiss me...kiss me, Julian...." Her mannerisms in that moment kinda give a strong indication of what she's dreaming....

Fascinating...it's been so long, and no further comment?

Shucks...I didn't exactly want the last word that way....

^A looker she certainly is!

Not much to say when I agree with you 100%. :techman:

Touche.
