Speaking of Q..... Q calling Worf microbrain is also cringeworthy.... at least from the Klingon point of view. :klingon:

I just watched 'Lessons' today, that episode is filled with awkward moments where Darren makes the situation "weird" because she is involved with the captain, it felt so forced! Even if Darren wasn't around everybody were careful not to say the wrong thing about her or the relationship... ewww. That episode was a lot weaker than I remembered. Then there's the firestorm, which by itself wasn't awkward but the way the Enterprise crew dealt with it... Was that really the best and/or the only way...

Barclay devolving into a spider. Even if you manage to get past the idea of devolving and of a single person evolving, I can't think of a single reason he could have devolved into a spider other than a cheap jump scare and a joke about his psychological issues. Are humans evolved from spiders in star trek? Was Barclay 1/16th alien? Did one of his ancestors get bitten by a radioactive spider?

Wesley from Justice: "We're with Starfleet, we don't lie."

Picard's holodeck 'therapy' in We'll Always Have Paris.
