Thank you for making this thread. If the female characters are going to be reduced to their looks it is only fair we do the same for the guys.
But I voted not by looks but by favorite character. My favorite is McCoy and I find well written characters attractive what can I say.
Would I find Deforest Kelley attractive by looks alone, probably not but the way he portrayed McCoy is attractive to me. His blue eyes don't hurt either.

I'll always remember the time I persuaded my ex to watch TOS. It was Season One, don't remember the episode, but when she saw Shatner... well, this is exactly how it went:

I've told this before but.. I hadn't seen TOS in years when I finally bought it all on video. I wondered if I would find Kirk as attractive as when I was a teenager when I had watched TOS multiple times. I figured he would have lost his charm and be a bit of an ape or something to my adult view. BUT NO HE WAS EVEN MORE DELICIOUS. Yes much more so and more nuanced then I remembered and just absolutely sexy and hot and a very attractive man indeed!
I think Kirk had man-boobs in TOS. It put me right off when he didn't have his shirt on. I'm amazed that people like him shirtless.
Still while I don't fancy him myself I can admit he has more adult charisma than anyone else in Star Trek.

As a woman I have to say I don't find Kirk attractive at all. I like him as a character (and Shatner as an actor) but he just doesn't do it for me in looks *shrugs*
Spock I do find attractive, it's that deep voice of his....
