More TOS engine room pics

That’s one cool corridor. Nice Butlerian dirtied-up touches, too.

About that linking business: this is beyond my meager reverse-coding skills and I don’t use Flicker, so I struck out.

Forgive me for reaching out with the summons, but @Donny, on the other hand, has been able to successfully post images.

Yes I noticed that, not sure he likes me to much at the moment though :(

Ian, I’m not mad at all! Don’t worry about it at all, my friend. We cleared it up yesterday and as far as I’m concerned, we are cool!

As far as embedding images from flickr, just copy their BBCode link into the post. Should work. Unless Trekbbs still has a lockdown on newer members embedding images?

Thanks Donny appreciate that. I'll post some mire pics today and try this out. I'm stuck on one console in the Engine room and I can't find our a dam detail about it so progress has stopped for now :(

That link works for me, glad to be able to see all of the pics!

Your rank should be sufficient to post image links - unless it has only literally been days since you joined the BBS, perhaps?

I'll try it the way Donny suggested. Glad you liked them,

You need to add the link address to this button:

If you can't see it, you might need to be a member for a little longer

Looking at the code for your link, it appears you are image-linking a directory rather than a single image.

I don't know if people are able to direct-link from flickr, but you would need to find the actual address of each image and post those within the [ img ][ /img ] tags.

Oops, sorry, didn't see there was another page of replies. I'll leave mine, just in case it helps.

Code:
[URL='https://www.flickr.com/photos/153723703@N08/albums/72157669474112168'[IMG]https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1754/41670295474_7ca6d63da8_o.png[/IMG][/URL]

Image posting restrictions for newer members don't exist anymore under the current board software. So that's not the problem. @Ian Simpson, like others are suggesting, you got to find the specific BBCode for each image on Flickr and copy it into your post. It's the one that begins with [ IMG ] and ends with [/ IMG ] and has an image URL in between those tags. You will find the code if you click the share button in the bottom right corner of each image (see pictures below). On the popup you choose “BBCode” and copy/paste the code to your post here. Flickr adds a whole bunch of other code to your link (to make it a backlink to your Flickr account, for example), but as I said, only the part with
[ IMG ] … [/ IMG ] is needed to make your images show up inside the thread.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks for the advice I think I've got it now. I'm not used to posting in these forums.

Thanks again
