More rewatchability: Voyager or Enterprise?

For me, VOY was rather TNG-lite: highly formulaic, with mostly bad characters. ENT at least tried to do something different, but its first two seasons (half of the entire show!) were mediocre at best. On the other hand, VOY had more seasons and thus a higher volume of entertaining episodes. ENT was a bit more consistent overall, though VOY for me had higher highs (Year of Hell, Counterpoint, Living Witness etc) and lower lows (Threshold...)

Which would you rather rewatch? If just an episode, I guess it would depend on which one but possibly I'd go VOY. Though, I'd be more willing to rewatch the entire series of ENT than of VOY.

What say you?

Tough decision. Phaser to my head, I would pick Voyager. I feel a greater affinity for the characters of Voyager.

Enterprise by a country mile
As for this perpetuated myth that all of season 1 and 2 was mediocre, that's simply not true.
There are loads of great 43 minutes worth in both of those seasons.
Tell me a Trek incarnation that doesn't have poor quality episodes, ffs Star Trek from 66-69 had at least 15 duffers from 3 seasons.
PS I'd also still watch Voyager, it's just that I can't take to the gallant explorer thing when they should have been trying at all costs to get home, asap.

Fair enough, your opinion, but I think you're being a trifle harsh.

Saying a season is mediocre isn’t the same as saying that every single episode in the season is mediocre. Of course there were episodes from both seasons that I enjoyed. Both Singularity and Cogenitor, for example, were two of my favorites of the entire series. But taken as a whole, the seasons were mostly mediocre for me.

Voyager easily. Voyager was a bit comfortabland at times, but the first two seasons of Enterprise are actively terrible and aggressively unwatchable.

I only watch the episodes I like from each series. They're about equal. I liked the cast better on Enterprise, but Voyager had a higher percentage of smarter scripts.

Voyager had some big low points but Enterprise quickly became disappointing-to-unwatchable with only few exceptions (unwatchable, quit-worthy particularly in season 2), I also think Voyager's cast overall was much, much better.

"Voyager" I like almost all the characters and it has IMO 4 good seasons in 1,2,4 and 5. "Enterprise has 1 good season and 1 okay season. Only characters I reallly like are Trip,Reed,Phlox and Sato. Only two reacurring characters I like in Shran and Admiral Forrest.

Voyager had a greater proportion of episodes than Enterprise that I find good enough to bear rewatching -- about 50% compared to 25%. If only those episodes were available in HD. The same goes for DS9 over Enterprise, although the ratio of rewatchability is more like 60% compared to 25%.

Voyager has the better cast of characters, and on paper the best premise, taking Trek back to brass tacks with a clean universe and no familiar races... but then quickly fell into doing storylines that could be told on any series. You could have titled it Star Trek: Generic, and it'd be just as accurate. The final seasons started leaning heavily on Reg Barclay, as though everyone was thoroughly bored of the Delta Quadrant by then.

But... but... Enterprise was a wholehearted attempt to be faithful to Star Trek while still shaking up the production by not doing 'typical' Star Trek things... but the cast are, for my mind, forgettable. Even Bakula, a solid performer, gets lost in a beige characterisation.

It's a tough choice. I'm more entertained by Voyager I think.
