I don't know if the one on eBay actually sold at that price.Really? I’ve got two and I was thinking of selling one. Could make a small fortune.
AI just know it was gone the next time I checked it out.

So they have a scale chart, but the ships are not actually to scale? That is nonsense. With maybe 2-3 exceptions, that's how Eaglemoss did the main line, the ships are whatever scale needed to fit into their standard sized box.
The scale chart is just BTS show fluff. It's meant to show their scale in the show.So they have a scale chart, but the ships are not actually to scale? That is nonsense.
I really wouldn't want to buy scale models which are not in scale with each other. The scale chart is just BTS show fluff. It's meant to show their scale in the show.
Ah the Millennium Falcon, nice!hero collector has previews up for 3 discovery collection ships: the worker bee, cleave ship, at USS edison (which we haven't seen before):

it also shows up in the escape artist short trek:Ah the Millennium Falcon, nice!

The scales are all over the place. I don’t think there is a official one for most ships. So they have a scale chart, but the ships are not actually to scale? That is nonsense.
Nope. For the non-Discovery line you get weird things where huge, skinny ships like the 1701-E are tiny compared to squatter overall designs like the Miranda variants. The scales are all over the place. I don’t think there is a official one for most ships.
They never said the models were to scale.I really wouldn't want to buy scale models which are not in scale with each other.
Sure. It is still a stupid decision. They never said the models were to scale.
It really isn't. All the ships are made at roughly the same length.Sure. It is still a stupid decision.
Right. To me that is stupid. I want my scale models to actually be in scale with each other. Thus I have zero interest in buying these. YMMV.It really isn't. All the ships are made at roughly the same length.
They did try to have a line of scale ships but it would be economical. Some ships would be massive and be many, many bucks while others would be small and be cheaper.Right. To me that is stupid. That isn't made by eaglemoss, it's fan made, from here.Eaglemoss did just recently release a new scale chart of their line.

Yes. This sounds perfectly sensible to me. Exactly as it should be.They did try to have a line of scale ships but it would be economical. Some ships would be massive and be many, many bucks while others would be small and be cheaper.
It is probably not necessary to have each ship in the entire franchise in the same scale, but ships from the same era or at least a show should be.If they did the NX at the current size, the Enterprise J would have to be over 13 times bigger. It would be nearly 2 meters.![]()
