Pity that they didn't put out a single malt for this, but I understand they need it to be mass-market and have a high profit margin. It's certainly a clever marketing idea. I'll stick with The MacCallan.

Single malt Scotch is how much more expensive?

Well, some blended scotch is more expensive than some single malt, but in general for about the same quality a single malt will be 20% - 30% more.
