Wow, Terminator Salvation fell like a fucking rock didn't it?

Yeah, it's done. $130 million is pretty much best case scenario for it.

Up on the other hand, had a great Monday, and could be on its way to $275-$300 based on previous Pixar films.

Yeah, TREK is going to easily surpass the $215 million domestic I projected for it. It might even go as high as $300 mil before it's pulled from the last theaters where it is still playing. Definitely a blockbuster if not SPIDER-MAN 2 or a SW prequel.

I can see something like $30-40 million left of life in it, probably not $90 million. Even Iron Man, which was last year's surprise big hit, only had about $45 million left in it by this point last year.

I see we are now beating Angels and Demons on weekdays as well even though Trek lost 500 theatres and is now in the same number of theatres as Angels & Demons...

As for international Trek did some good business yesterday!

It has 0 chance of hitting 300 million domestic IMO...I think it will end up somewhere around 235-240..Which is a complete success. World wide totals should end up around 375-400 million.

This is awsome. Remember those people willing it to fail so hard their heads nearly blew up (as I presume happened to some of them, given their mysterious disappearance)?

It feels great to be right. :D

Don't bogart that joint, my friend... :p

I'm trying to be positive, dammit.

I still have soul burns from NEMESIS and that's been close to seven years.

Cut me a break!

I've been expecting somewhere around $1M per day this Mon-Thurs, so that's a little higher than what I thought. Another good day for Star Trek.

At this rate, it should surpass The Voyage Home's inflation-adjusted domestic total by the end of the week!

1.3 million is good.....I just hope it can bring in a million at least each week day. Then if it can have really good hold over from last weekend and fall only 40% or so, that would be really nice. I'd love to see Trek beat 250 million when all is said and done.

Looks like the next movie is now a surer bet than the sun rising in the morning...or Carrot Top being unfunny.

I was looking at Wolverine and Iron Man numbers for comparison and frankly i was expecting closer to $1,5 million for Monday rather then $1,3 million. So with this new lower numbers i predict $1,1 million for Tuesday.

Yeah, my plan is for going tomorrow again.
Let make it $1,1 million and 8 bucks

Dude, I'm right there with you--saw Nemesis 4 times, and should've toked each time... :(

On five for this one... who knows, I might have one more in me...
