Modified Tos Captain's Chair Pictures

Hello all I'm looking for some good pictures showing the back addition that was used for both the Mirror universe Kirk's chair and the USS Lexington command chair. I'm trying to modify a Sketchup model into that chair. Trying to figure out if it was just a sleeve that fit over the existing back area or some other type of attachment.

Problem is, not one shot of the back of the chair. I'm pretty sure that was deliberate as I would suspect that they screwed a bracket onto the back to hold that extended back rest...

This is the best I could do- its a grab off of the remastered TOS stills on Trekcore.com. I think if you look at "The UItimate Computer" and slowly advance the scene just as Wesley comes on the screen during the war games debacle, you might get a shot of the back. You get at least an idea of the construction from the side view. Here you go, I hope it helps!

I'm pretty sure it was just an extension they put over the chair. I know that's how several of the 3D modelers have handled it in the past.

Remember that chair design was also seen on the ISS Enterprise in Mirror, Mirror. You might find some good reference material in screen caps of that episode as well.

Looking at the chair plans back width is approx 24". Looking at the pictures, I'm estimating that the extension would be approx 28" high tapering to 18". It also looks that cushion follows the chair back curve.
