TF 141 didn't exist in MW1...
Maybe Ghost is part of the squad with Gaz, Soap and the captain. which would be weird since Gaz and Ghost are both voiced by Craig Fairbrass...

I thought it was interesting to see that Sledgehammer games is making the next MW title and not I.W.
If it doesn’t come out this year does that mean no COD in 2011? Or will I.W. make COD: (whatever) for 2011?
According to this website Sledgehammer games was established in 2009 so they have done virtually nothing.

The other thing I find ironic is the fact that Activision is suing the former bosses of I.W. for getting into bed with E.A. games before MW2’s release BUT
They fund a new company called Sledgehammer games in 2009 and they just happen to be taking over I.W.’s MW title? Hmmm

Macmillan or Price is my favourite MW character.
I agree with those saying we need a sequel before a prequel. Soap and Price are still on the run, Makarov isn't even dead yet. And the inevitable US counterattack on Russia hasn't occured yet.
I also would like some game bridging together the IW and Treyarch COD games somehow. Maybe they can't do this for legal reasons. But it would be cool to see a young Macmillan or something in Black Ops 2.

If it's a prequal then they should call if Modern Warfare 0 rather than Modern Warfare 3, that's a bit misleading.
I'm not sure what to make of the most recent news. Raven are developing the MP, and they've previously worked on the MW2 map packs. Hmmm, of the map packs I loved the redone MW1 maps, but largely loathed the new maps.

Activision is lucky most of there fans will buy the game despite quality issues because they have issues in that department with IW bolting. Black Op's on the PC and PS3 is not much more than a real mess.
MW 3 is the best thing to do but I guess there is a gap in the timeline of COD between BO & MW1 that could allow another story. However the people working on the games don't posess an ounce of quality the IW staff had.
