Oh, when Luna sung, I just about lost it.

That was really good. A nice epic story that didn't stumble too much, as has sometimes been the case with season premieres/finales. The Rainbow Power Mane Six looked a bit ridiculous, but that's a toy thing I can sort of live with.
It really felt like a major status quo shift, even more than Magical Mystery Cure. Hopefully, we don't have them too isolated in that big castle next season.

If it's anything like this season, next season's use of the castle will be rare. Plus, knowing our Mane Six as we do, they'll be far happier interacting with everypony else instead, probably using the castle solely for various crises.

Tirek was brought back, all I'm wondering is is Megan and Earth, our Earth also canon now too, as in would they explore that in later seasons.

It really was! It's not quite the same as Q and the other Q from Deja Q, but it had a bit of that flavor to it, I think.

It really was! It's not quite the same as Q and the other Q from Deja Q, but it had a bit of that flavor to it, I think.
Tirek seemed almost an enemy of the Continuum. He was an adversary that Q knew and might possibly respect.
Some of the novelization have other letter continuums that have powers like the Q.

Yeah, it has long since been headcanon that Discord is actually Q. It just makes sense!
Well it does seem like something he'd do-just for shits and giggles if nothing else. We needed a "You hit me, Celestia never hit me" line out of him.

I definitely want some Q lines to appear in future episodes. We all know the folks at DHX are science fiction nerds, so this should happen.

I'm a big fan of "Let the Rainbow Remind You," as well.
I really want that Discord lamp.
I though this was very sweet, especially Flutteryshy who is inspirational.. and I thought the anime style battle scenes were totally awesome. They really shook things up. I just would have liked a villain we had already seen, that's why I didn't give it an A.

Somebody actually made a Discord lamp, see it here, put it on ebay, and it sold for $365!
I think he or she has made several, but man that is pricey!
