The world ends, next Tuesday.

This is going to be epic. And having ponies to look forward to makes up for yet another weekend where I have to go in to work.

I'm really looking forward to this. Not sure whether I'll watch it live or wait for the HD version on YouTube. We'll see.

I'm sorry! I wanted to but I couldn't get into the better quality livestreams and the one that worked for me was very low quality and lagged.

I did enjoy this episode! While not as God-tier as I expected, it's an enjoyable episode.

Being the Trek fan that I am, I realized that Twilight got herself in a predestination paradox! A leads to B leads to C, which goes back to A. I also enjoyed her technobabble with Pinkie, who just flat out said, "I have no idea!"

And, it was great to see an episode focus on my favorite of the Mane Six as well!

It was great to see a Mane Six episode, or at least one where all of the Mane Six appeared and spoke. Did I miss Derpy this time? I only have HUB in SD, so sometimes I don't always catch her...

One particular favorite scene was the one where Twilight decides to not move a muscle, and so Spike and Rainbow have some fun with her. Funny stuff.

And, as usual, Pinkie had some funny moments--her random panic screams, etc.

Another new pony city = Baltimare! Good pun.

And, the bits with the Guard and Celestia were funny too.

All in all, a solid outing that's quite good, but just a bit out of top-level.

I don't know what it was, but most of the episode felt a little...off. Mostly during the first half, though. It picked up at the end, and had the best Celestia appearance ever. (Caused a genuine, laugh-out-loud guffaw). I did want to slap Twilight upside the head when she thought of using the spell to go back in time and warn herself not to worry about her warning. What did she think was going to happen? So, yeah. B.

Oh, but I did appreciate how they developed FutureTwi's appearance. Lot of little mishaps, directly caused by her freaking out and not having time to straighten up. I wonder if she borrowed the ninja outfits from Dash?

This week's really felt off. The jokes were there, but I just wasn't feeling it. That was a great appearance by Celestia, and of course Pinkie being Pinkie. I guess the "Twilight freaks out about nothing" storyline is starting to wear thin for me.

Well that was disappointing and pointless.

But, Celestia does have night guards that look suspiciously like "normal" versions of Luna's mutant bat breed.

And...why does Twilight have several full body latex outfits lying around?

Which makes me wonder if they were simply in costume. After all, it was Nightmare Night.

Pinkie probably has them stashed all over Ponyville in case of burglary emergency. (She should check the security of her hiding spots, though, since Rainbow Dash seems to have found one.) ;)

I'm not so sure, I've been reading some of the comments over at EqD by those who saw it in HD. Their armour is blue, not purple, it has a star/sun amulet instead of Luna's eye, their ears are normal and their coats too light a shade of grey even in an unlit corridor.

Celestia must just hire grey coated Ponies to keep a lower profile at night, Luna's being some weird sub-breed after 1500 years of selective breeding and who know's what kind of magic. She likes breeding servants, who knew

Even so, is nopony else worried that the literal Gates of Hell exist not far outside Ponyville? and when it's demon guardian goes missing all Celestia does is put out a flier, "Lol my dog is missing" ?

like it. great celestia appearance

and baltimare

Loved it! One of my favorite scenes was where Twi, Pinkie & Spike are sneaking into the upper window of the Starswirl spell repository, and Twilight says "now slowly lift me to the window so I can..." and Pinkie just straight arms her right through the window.

I love the sound she makes when shes smacked around like that, like when rarity rump slammed her.

I smell a spinoff
