Ha! Nice.
As I mentioned earlier, I hope they focus more on slice of life and such, because I don't like the show getting too dark. One of the reasons I love it like I do is because it's very optimistic and lacking in cynicism.
Well the Halloween episode this week is meant to be scary, but after that the next two episodes concentrate on the Cutie Mark Crusaders and their relationships with their sisters, so we'll be getting back to daily Ponyville stuff soon.

I think they're striking a good balanced as it is now. The show stays light and fun the majority of the time, but occasionally we get a Discord style episode to shake things up.
Discord...I laughed so hard. When Q crosses dimensions... it's hilarious.
