So we started John Lamb yesterday.

Needless to say he got pummeled.

John Fucking Lamb, for corn's sake. Career 2-13, 6.25 ERA, WHIP1.627

What drugged-up washout will the Angels call up next?

Stay tuned!

:scream:

Welcome back to the Majors, Jake Jewel.

:(

The Angels are combing the streets of So Cal in search of anyone who can throw a ball.

The Cubs win a shoot-out over the Twins 14-9. But the really rare thing, with 20 hits, they had 17 singles and 3 doubles.

They managed to score a ton o' runs without the home run. Heyward was 4-6 with at least one clutch hit and is now hitting .291

Wow, that is surprising and quite refreshing. I'm so tired of home run derby games.

The last 2 years the Cubs have been mostly feast or famine with the home runs. Lately they've been doing both. Friday's game featured 4 home runs by the Cubs in their 10-6 win.

Our pitching is still obviously not great, but the offense is hitting on most cylinders.

At the end of yesterday's Pirates game....Jack Sparrow looks up at the final score and Duck Dodgers laughs his ass off.

We Pirates fans are so screwed this year....

:sigh:
