Good news...no lasting damage to David Huff. He's got a knot the size of a golfball on his head - and probably a headache to match - but no brain damage, hematoma, or anything like that. He was in the hospital for 3 hours but was back at Yankee Stadium by the end of the game. A-Rod (who hit the ball) called him too. Linky

Well I'm glad to see we had a perfect game yesterday. Sort of distracts from the Yankees amazing crash and burn

I missed most of the perfect game because I was watching the Flyers. Figures, right?

I never manage to tune into a no hitter when its actually on, I always find out the next morning and curse myself for not watching.

Great series for the Giants this weekend. Offense, as anemic as can be, came through and how about Buster Posey. What a way to make a season debut. Looking forward to tomorrow and the match up between Lincecum and Jimenez. I'm going to that game too, so it will be a ton of fun.

Twins are working over the Rangers on Sunday Night Baseball. Hoping for a sweep here . :techman:

Agreed. It was a breath of fresh air to see them leading by 11 runs on Saturday...not something we Giants fans are used to. I couldn't help but feel the fear in the back of my mind that they'd use up all of their offense that night and not leave any for Sunday's game. I thought that fear was going to be realized but...Andres Torres had other ideas. :) The only thing better than all out ownage of the likes we saw on Saturday is a late-inning come backer. Here's hoping they keep that momentum going into this series with the Rocks.

Holy crap. Ubaldo Jimenez throws a 4 hit, complete game shut out, using only 82 pitches.

His ERA is now 0.78.

Wow, just wow.

It was more than 82 pitches. Try 130.

I was at that game. Can we go ahead and give Jimenez the Cy Young now. Man he is nasty good. The Giants couldn't really do anything against him, and being 10 and 1 right now, holy cow.

I'm starting to get really concerned about Lincecum. Hopefully he snaps out of it, but his control is way off. At least he was able to go 6, but hopefully he goes back to the old Timmy we all know and love.

You're right. I think it was 82 pitches for strikes. That's what I get for trying to do more than one thing at once.

Does he look as good in person as he does on TV?

As a Met fan, I'm healous of teams with light out, consistent starting pictching.

My poor mess of a team lost by 2 touchdowns last night.
