Mike Trout got hurt again. Getting left knee surgery. Not season-ending, but no timetable to return.

Stephen A. on a Mike Trout rant

The long rain delay in the win against the Dodgers is the only reason he's not 6-0. This guy is the true Sho-time.

I love how Uribe just pushes Rhys Hoskins out of the way.

The Brewhahas have been involved in a number of "brawls" so far this year. And considering that, historically, they throw at more batters than average, they could be in for a lot more suspensions this year.

I just learned that the Tampa Bay Rays started a team hall of fame last year and Wade Boggs is in it. Can you think of any other players that don't belong in a specific team's hall of fame? Boggs was there for his final two seasons and wasn't any good. Fred McGriff is going in this year. While he put up good numbers in Tampa, he was barely there. But it makes more sense than Boggs.

The Miami Heat retiring Michael Jordan's and Dan Marino's numbers, that's a whole different topic.

I like listening to Wainwright in the Fox broadcast booth (he's a HELL of a sight more tolerable than :censored:ing Smoltz) even though I really have no idea what he's talking about.

Edit: I think there's more Mets fans at the Trop than Rays fans!

Three hours of fart noises being played from a soundboard would be more tolerable than John fucking Smoltz, whose entire gimmick is waxing poetic and whining about "how the game used to be" and shit like that. Half the time, it's patently obvious he's just reciting a pre-written bit about something despite it having nothing to do with what's actually happening on the field. I mean, I'm glad that Buck is gone and Joe Davis is fun as a PBP guy, but Smoltz is a fucken albatross in the booth.
