Just as a point of clarification, the game isn't actually going to be played at the Field of Dreams, but at a temporary 8,000-seat stadium that will be constructed adjacent to the field itself.

I don't disagree that Maddon is probably toast after the season (even though the empirical result of managers and coaches is essentially nil, statistically speaking), but a late-season firing doesn't make sense. It's not like any new coaches would have any immediate impact, because the real issues are with the roster construction and the injury plague.
