MLB 2017: The Yankees are dead, Yankees burn in hell

What are they going to do? Put cameras down there so fans can see them on the video boards?

Cameras are already in place. As I understand it, the plan is to put heavy-duty glass where the bullpen doors currently are.

I hope those one-way glass doors can withstand a Schwarber impact. He's already run into that area once this year.

Didn't a previous attempt to alter the doors get shot down because the outfield wall of Wrigley is a landmark?

Also, is there any way for managers/coaches to see into the bullpens so they can watch their own relievers? Like a WiFi hookup accessed via an iPad?

Yanks get it done today v the champs.

Big Mike seems like a new guy. Confident. ... and he got a hit and gave us a great base-running demo! :D

Gardner with the 3 run dinger with two strikes in the top of the 9th. Girardi benched him last week and he's been on a tear since his return.

Baby Bombers playing some pretty good baseball early.

The Mets' medical staff strikes again; Syndergaard is now expected to be out until August.

But...he was on the 10 day DL. That should've been enough.

I guess I'll admit to their credit that unlike some of their other pitchers like Harvey, Matz and Wheeler, they aren't just telling him to rub some dirt on it and get back on the mound.

Maybe they did, and that voodoo they don't do so well didn't work

Someone please fire Brett Anderson into the sun, thanks in advance.

I was just coming here to say something similar. 5 more 1st inning runs and an 8+ ERA (so far).

Not too many great outings by the Cubs starters this year, but Anderson is the weakest link....goodbye.

Time to cancel the season if they end up swept by the Reds

It might be time to cancel the season regardless. I know, small sample size, bla bla bla, but when you get outscored 27-5 in the first two games of a series, that is pitiful. A;so, I know Hamilton is probably the fastest guy in Baseball, but you might as well just walk him at this point and hope you can limit his damage. He is having a series against this team.

And if the 5 runs given up by Anderson in .1 innings wasn't enough, the only one of three relievers who didn't give up any more runs was Miguel Montero.

The best starter ERA is 3.51 by Hendricks. Somehow Arrieta is 4-1 (only because they can score some runs).

Montgomery has 1 less inning than Anderson (21 to 22) and has an ERA of 1.29 to Anderson's 8.18. Boy did they pick the wrong horse to be their #5 starter.

"No, guys, really, I think I hurt something in my arm."

"Get OUTTA HERE with the quitter attitude, Harvey!"

The current rumor going around is that Harvey got completely wasted after the Rangers game on Friday and showed up yesterday to Citi Field still drunk / ridiculously hungover, and Collins sent him home immediately (which is why the suspension was effective yesterday, but only announced today).

Edit:

Okay, yeah, he showed up drunk to work.

I'm very excited, got tickets to see the Rangers play the Padres on Monday night. While I've visited Petco Park, the last time I was in SD. They were away and I took a tour. This is my first time seeing a game here, can't wait.
