Starting a new thread for this it will be a mix of 2d works some are trek some are not. Some might be considers part of it though such as the opening images.

Mostly goofing around there are no plans to do anything with these.

I never read Niven's books, but the Kzinti have a firm place in my head canon thanks to TAS and SFB.

Great artwork. These look like digital paintings, are you using a Cintiq (or comparable) device or what? I'm curious about your hardware.

Thanks everyone. I might add more in as I find descriptions, I am only just through the neutron star collections for known space. (read all the man/kzin war stuff though but those only touched on all the aliens in known space.) I still really gotta work on those Kzin though. Not a fan of furry so I am trying to avoid any resemblance to it. Add in I have not really paid much attention to fauna in drawing/painting in the past so I am working out things as I go.

Most if not all my work has been digital since 2002 or so. In the past it was a older intuos tablet but now I use a cintiq 27, it is also my primary monitor for now too as it is a 2k display. Likely change when I can find a decent 4k display to do 3dsmax on. (need those PIXELS!) The cintiq really did not change anything but size. I chose it as the other tablet options were crap. Most of the newer tablets are one time surfaces and once that wore out you were forced to spend another 500usd on a new unit vs a 30usd replacement surface. Last best tablet was the intuos 4 (I had a 3)

Software is usually SAI or clip studio.

haha I have not shared much here as I tried to keep things trek or related things only. So much of my OC work and non trek stuff isn't shared here. Most of it makes it to the blogs in time though. I will probably share anything not anime in this thread though. So scifi stuff, aliens, and creatures, etc.

some more stuff that likely wont make sense to most. (touhou, google it) Marisa and clownpiece, latter is some greek lamp thing that relates to hekate. Power of insanity. = While not really insanity but more like brainwashed, marisa is under the spell. If you want to see the pose as sexual that's up to you. (again touhou memes etc) Took me ages to get going on this. The pairing is just random results from a roll thread on some chan board where I get 2 random numbers that match up to a grid of characters. While I am using them as a decider device the thread is on some other subject. (it is not the old /jp roll threads)


oh yeah ignore the fuqed up hands as those have all been dealt with. I am really out of practice.
while clearly not trek or scifi Ill keep posting unless someone complains. of course there will be scifi stuff in the future as it is not all anime and dojin game stuff.

likely alter feet as body pose is lost in clothing making it look weird. originally this was just going to be a bust image.
