He plays everything like Spock

Don't need to buy it.

I watched it, and the previous seasons, when they were first broadcast....

(now get off my lawn!)

By the way, some of the guest stars on Mission Impossible, such as Lee Meriwether were guests on a episodes of TOS as well.:techman:

^^Oh, there are a lot more ties between TOS and M:I. They were both from Desilu and later Paramount, they were both developed and initially overseen by Herb Solow, they had a number of the same production staffers, and they were shot on adjacent soundstages. The casts and crews of the two shows often interacted behind the scenes. This is how Phil Morris and his sister Iona ended up as Onlies in "Miri" -- their father Greg Morris was a regular on M:I.

I remember the first episode with Nimoy...took me most of the hour to figure out what was so wrong about how he looked. I bought the lack of pointy ears and the new hairdo, but something was off.

Then it hit me, the eyebrows were different. Made a world of diffence.

Now get off my lawn too! ;)

Martin Landau, who was one of the leads in the show before Nimoy, was one of the actors under consideration to play Spock when they were casting Trek. I always thought it ironic that Nimoy basically replaced him in MI.

And of course, more recently, you have the JJ Abrams and Simon Pegg connections ...

Who would of thought that Phil Morris's involvement with Star Trek went that far back (so he did TOS, STIII, DS9 (as a Jem H'adar) and Voyager)

Iona Morris appeared as an adult in Trek as well. She was the bar owner Umali in VGR: "Workforce." (She was also the voice of Storm in the '90s X-Men animated series, at least initially.)
