Missing 32" Enterprise finally found...

I see a **second** Enterprise at the 1:44 minute mark here:

AMT or too early?
Re: The photo at 1:44
Where and when exactly is that taken? It's a wall of Nimoy/Spock photos post TOS season 3 (Spock's Brain is there) and the 33 inch is already on the goose-neck.
Filmation? Abel?

Looks like a paper model to me but not sure
I agree, looks like paper to me too.

I hear you, @Ronald Held!
However, I wonder if Her History and Journey would be effective as be part of the “Exhibit, Tales to Tell”, as far as how She came to be, how She was used, where She disappeared to, and how She was found, warts and all?…

I mentioned this at RPF.
Someone brought up the fact that there was a bottle of Pine Sol on the floor near the model. They thought maybe this chucklehead tried to clean the model with it. I looked at the model again and of course the first place someone would try to clean it is on the top of the lower hull. That's exactly the whitest spot on the model and it looks like someone tried to wipe it and gave up. There are smear/skid marks all over it. If there is indeed pine sol soaked in the paint and maybe exposed wood. I now want to see the thing completely restored. The guy screws with the original patina that was there for 45 years. So I don't see the point of leaving it looking like complete crap.

Maybe I am pushing, @Dar70, but even that could be part of the Story and Meaning of what she Represents.

I hope the person who has this model doesn't screw things up. I would hate if they end up damaging the model by trying to restore it, or try to get some ridiculous amount of money for it.

Thanks for the “RFP” information. I had not visited that site before. Very interesting and informative!

Yeah he definitely tried to clean it. What a jerk..I bet he does not do the right thing and return it to the Roddenberrys. I bet he tries to sell it to a private buyer. Maybe Rod Roddenberry will try and buy it but this guy will definitely hold it hostage and try to get Roddenberry to pay as much as he can get.

I see the one you mean, but it looks very rough -- like a mock-up for showing shapes and proportions, but missing a lot of the finer detail.

If it wasn’t as big as it is, I might be persuaded it is the original, balsa and birch prototype.
