Miss drinking at Quark's Bar? Buy your own Warp Core Breach glass!

Hey All,

New guy here with a question. Have any of you had ANY problem getting your glasses you ordered from this place? I paid for mine via paypal back on the 11th or 12th or so and still no glasses in my hand. I got one big one, one small.
I've emailed three different emails but all are bouncing except for one peronal AOL account, of which I'm getting no response from.

Just wondering what's up...:confused:

I came here to ask the same exact question as I am experiencing the exact problem. I ordered 1 lg. WCB's and 2 of the smaller designs used for the Borg Sphere's. I placed my order on Oct 9th. They responded right away saying that they were going to ship out the WCB "Right Away" but I had to wait two weeks for the Borg Sphere's - no problem. I even thanked them for keeping a part of Quark's accessible to the fans of Quark's and ST:TE.

After about 10 days I tried to send an email and, like yours, it got bounced. I then went to their site logged into my account I have with them and directly sent a correspondence. It's been about another 10 days without any response. I am deliberating my next move.
 
Surprised to hear these stories. Mine (one large) was rushed out quickly... they even cut the quoted shipping costs because it was only going from Vegas to SoCal. I do have a theory, though:

With rumors of a new Quark's/STTE set to open at Neonopolis in Downtown Las Vegas early next year, it may be that they're selling most of their stock to this new operation. The original Quark's sold off all of their "interesting glassware" when it closed. They shouldn't promise what they can't deliver to us, the individual consumers, of course, and they should certainly respond to emails and concerns, but my experience of their service was top notch.
 
several things you can do:

if you are worried about your money, ask paypal to give your money back. as these people are not responding, you will either get your money back or it will prompt them to respond.

may be premature, but it's good to look at where they are and find out about their local law enforcement. i know i've had to call the local police of some sellers i've had to deal with over the net. i always got my money or item in those cases. don't be afraid to report them. they screw you, do the same to them. at least they'll have a police report about them. though your results may vary as each local area treat incidents like this differently. i've been lucky enough to be able to get in touch with a law enforcement who cared to pursue the incident. one time i even had police actually case the business/resident of the seller and confront him there. it was great!
 
Update 11-3:: Well, got an email from the AOL account on there:

Not sure why it bounced…sorry. I shipped the wallet….you should be getting it any day now. Please let me know when you get it. OK.

I've emailed him back letting him know that I did not order a wallet(though I thought he could tell from the cust and past I put on the email of my order for WCB glasses).
I'll keep you all posted on what happens. Is this happening to anyone else besides me and Vivman?

I actually ordered the two-piece martini glasses from them (I had been looking for an affordable place to buy then, and voila!). So far, I've recieved an email containing the USPS tracking number, but there's no indication that it's been shipped yet.

I'm not alarmed yet, but I'll keep checking back here, and will let people know if I get another update.
 
I had many a fantastic time drinking at Quark's. It seems plain wrong that it is gone. I may just have to order something to remind me of it, especially if I can put booze in it.
 
Quick update: I have notification from USPS that my package was delivered today, so I'll check on that when I get home.

We'll see if they came through and delivered what I ordered, and in good condition.

UPDATE: Got 'em! They arrived today, wrapped in gen-u-wine Las Vegas newspaper and three tons of packing peanuts.

I ordered my set of the small & large Warp Core Breach glasses and the Rings of Betazed stand at the end of September. My card was charged in early October and never heard another word about them.

I was about to contact my credit card company to get the charges reversed when I got an email from Alex, apologizing for the delay and that I would be getting my merchandise in a few days..

This was yesterday and today my Experience stuff arrived at my door. I was told that he had to downsize his staff due to the poor economy.

Dale, it was nice to see you after all of these years on that last day at the Experience. Hope you're well!

Well, I wish I had good news to add here...but so far, I've been getting nothing but the run around from this company. His emailed responses are very late at best and full of excuses of why he couldn't ship me my items. Each time I'm utterly polite and understanding, finally I'm to the point of 'WTF'?!?!?!? Then he writes back stating that he shipped it to me already...and would look up the info and send it to me. Also that he's insured and covered if it's lost.

So I just asked for the tracking info. and confirmation of shipment(which some of you said you have gotten via email). As of yet, still no answer with multiple requests over about two weeks or so.

Serious hit and miss on this company IMO. Either great service as some of you have gotten, or total run around like me. I'd say just beware if you order from them.

I'll give them a couple of more shots as I really want the product NOT a refund, but if drags through this month, I'll be filing a claim with paypal and anything else I need to do...

Ugh...I just want to drink from my glasses!!! :confused:

Any updates from those of you that have been waiting on your shipments? I Emailed them twice now, to make sure they are in-stock. However, no reply yet.
 
Hey...I am a "muggle" of Star Trek-ese; however, my husband is not. He is suddenly obsessed with finding warp core breach [I had to look this up...fascinating (sorry!)] glasses that used to at Quark's in Vegas where he went with his other Star-Trek-minded friends every year. When I "google" warp core breach glasses I get the name of the site, but all of my security alert warnings (sorry again!) go off, so I don't go there. My husband is 52 and is in a bit of a crisis about not living forever and so on...so I would like to 1) please him and 2) pretend I am not so upset about him drinking a highly alcoholic drink where it seemed to me to be perfectly safe to drink in Vegas where one would stagger around in relative safety or stay at Quarks bar and drink more as the case may be. I know there is a container in our freezer with dry ice in it, so he has concocted (spelling?) the drink somewhere--not here, a local bar, but no one has any information on the glasses. I have tried to contact the Hilton and the new Experience place, to no avail. Is there any help out there? Thanks for any info and your patience. Forever aspiring to be a Klingon woman...not a "cadet"!!!!
 
Did they sell out? I was hoping to get a WCB glass to use as a fishbowl in my office. All I can find is the wallet.
 
I am certain Klingon women never say, "thank you" no matter how effective whatever "it" is; however, perhaps this "Cadet" can. Thank you.
 
OK. I am looking a pictures of my husband at Quarks, and the wcb glass he is drinking out of has two Saturn-like rings encircling the fishbowl. Although their glasses are interesting, the Intergalactic bartender site does not offer the sale of these. Any ideas?

Am I insane or does the NFL replicate the warp core in some if its advertisements?
