Miss drinking at Quark's Bar? Buy your own Warp Core Breach glass!

The company that provided the Warp Core Breach glasses and stands for Quark's, Creativeware Designs, have made them available for purchase on the internet for $50 each set! They also have some other familiar items in stock like the Holy Rings of Betazed onion ring server and the Phaser Shots racks of conical shot glasses.

NOTE TO MODS: I don't work for the company or stand to make any money off of this. It's not intended to be "ad spam" and I'm posting it because I think there are a lot of people around here who'll be interested. I know AntonyF, for instance, wanted to acquire one or more WCB glasses when Quark's was closing. If this post violates the board rules I apologize and invite you to delete it and/or suggest the correct way for me to spread this good news.

You are a diamond for finding that. Thanks! :) Glad I didn't try to buy them off eBay now.

It's just a pity they don't do the smaller glass, I found it more interesting.

Actually, they do!

I've been flipping (paging?) around their online catalog... it looks like Quark's got most of their exotic glassware and the accompanying bizzaro metal contraptions from these people.

ooh neat design. that can be used for so many diff things like a fish bowl and a make-your-own-candle container. :D thanks.

My WCB glass & stand shipped today... and I got an email from them that said since it's only going from Vegas to SoCal, they're going to discount my shipping!

I can't wait. Now I just have to buy a bunch of rum and some dry ice!

This is truly a winning find. Thanks for posting this. I am ordering some of these bad boys. No one will be walking away from my Halloween party this year!

They look too complicated to drink from at home. But I bet they'd make good candle holders!

Now I feel dumb for ordering the large and small warp core breach glasses from the STTE experience website. They complement my collection of Quark's pilsner glasses and the Borg 4-D glasses. My homemade liquid latinum looks pretty good in the Quark's glasses, can almost feel like I'm back there.

Incidently, I went to Vegas this past week and I took a trip down to the LV Hilton just to see what's become of the place. The sign is still on the big outside Hilton sign, advertisements for it still play on the monorail. Alas, the actual entrance to STTE is now walled off and looks like a tombstone now. I could see a little into the place, chairs in Quark's are all stacked up, the modes of the ENT-D and Voyager are still on and as brightly lit as ever.

I did find the Star Trek slot machines so at least I got to do something trekish there. Without STTE, Vegas just doesn't do it for me. No matter how much I'd lose at the tables there was always a good warp core breach to pick me up, now not so much.

Back when the Experience first opened, my wife and I got plastered on two warp core breaches. The "ambassador" who took our order then talked us into purchasing the glass that the breach came in...to the tune of $120. We still have it, and it makes for an interesting shelf piece in our living room.

Hi Kords, when did you go to the Hilton? I just read on another forum someone went last week as well, but they said the place was pretty much gone. Truck loads of debris being trucked away and all ships removed. I tend to believe your story more, since there have been several pictures from the last couple weeks that show very little change overall (I'm assuming they're going to start the deconstruction in the back, where the general public cannot see)

I was there from Tues-Fri. You could still see into the place from the handicap entrance. If they're tearing down stuff they must be starting from the back and working their way forward cause aside from chairs being stacked up at Quarks, it looked rather untouched for the most part.

I wanted to sneak in and see what I could grab, but I thought trespassing charges wouldn't be good fro my image so I took some pictures instead. I was surprised that the Klingon Encounter and Borg 4D ride banners were still up.

My friend had a brother that went to the LV Hilton a few weeks back and it was open, so he just walked right in (there was no sign saying not to), he was down there for a little while and then was asked to leave, no police action. I'm waiting to get the pictures from him!

That's so sad... you're right, it does look like a tombstone! :(

My WCB glass arrived today! Like a visit from an old friend! I could only have been happier if it came filled!

You planning on having your own Halloween Alien bash this year? I finally get to share with other people what a warp core breach is and it's going to be a blast. I even got the Star Trek Klingon VCR interactive game to go along with it. It's not the Klingon Encounter but it's entertaining and after a few Liquid Latinums/Mind Melds/Warp Core breachs, it'll be fun enough.

Sadly, no... I will be working Halloween night. I will, of course, show up in a Trek costume (they expect it of me). I am planning on acquiring all the necessary ingredients and mixing a WCB or two in the near future, however. I have nieces and a nephew (who are of age) who've never "experience"d one. I'll bet my little brother would enjoy another as well. He went with me a couple times over the years.

This is so great! I just purchased one, sad that I was unable to get one during the Vegas Creation convention in August. Thank you VERY much for letting us know about this. :bolian:
