First impressions of the show haven't been what I'd call great, but I could see this picking itself up with some better writing. I don't think it's all necessarily the actors' fault.

^Upon my first viewing of the first episode I would have agreed. But I have really started to like the characters and while I still wouldn't call it a favourite show I do enjoy it and want to see more.

Looks like Misfits have been picked up for a second series of 6 episodes. I'm glad to hear it.

Misfits has been recommissioned for a second series, E4 has announced.
The teen comedy drama, which follows a group of youths with superpowers, will return with six new episodes in 2010.
"Misfits always felt like a perfect E4 show and the response has been phenomenal," said head of drama Camilla Campbell.
"I'm delighted to commission a second series, and like its fans, I can't wait to see where Howard’s inventive scripts take us and the gang."

Any body been watching the recent repeats on Channel 4? It's inspired me to get the DVD out and watch again. I really love this show.

Yeah I didn't see it the first time round, but I'm glad I gave it a chance on C4 this time.

Flawed in many respects but very enjoyable. I'm up to episode 5 now and will probably watch the finale in the week (3 episodes with adverts reminded me 4oD is by far the better option!)

It has got me excited for series 2.
