Ohh, I have another. I nominate myself for most drastic haircut! I had 37 inches of length removed when I went from hair that hung past my knees to a bob. I'll see if I can find a picture.

Why did you get it cut? I would love to have really long hair but mine just won't grow that long.

That's some haircut! I won't challenge that - I can't challenge that! But I did have a rather drastic haircut once, looked like this for a couple of weeks:
Well, I did become the Heavy Weight Champion of Beer (I got a belt and everything).
Plus I had to crush the previous record so that I would never have to do it again.

You know, it's rare that there are people on this board that I actually wish I could know in real life, but you have managed to fit yourself into that category.

How about person who owns the least shoes? I should be abe to steal that one. Or person with the most concussions
You can nominate yourself for those two.
However shoes should mean all footwear including slippers, flip-flop etc.
I just realised that would bring my count up to three. One pair of boots, one pair of shoes (which are being thrown out as soon as I find a replacement I'm happy with) and one pair of wreslting boots.
I'm really not a fan of shoes.
Concussions though... I'm at eight right now. Hopefully that number won't rise.
How about most house moves? In the past ten years I've lived in thirteen different places. Which... thinking about it... is shockingly bad.

OK, not quite enough to give every registered member a comic book, but I still have 14,893 of them. Does that count?
I can't face hunting through all my boxes in the basement to count mine, and,anyway, I doubt I have that many! That must take up a lot of space

Well I haven't collected since about 1997. I was mostly a marvel and DC guy with a few image titles back in my collecting days. My favourites are 70s and 80s Marvel stuff as well as some of the independant stuff that was put out by Comico, Eclipse, First etc in the 80s.
As far as space it's actually not too bad since I have the boxes stacked 7 high in the basement. I plan on building proper storage for them in the months ahead.

Ah! - well my collection might have one Marvel/DC album -the rest I bought (haven't been buying comics for about 20 years (don't know why not though!)) because I liked the author and/or artist.
Apart from a few popular series (Tintin, Asterix, Calvin & Hobbes, Spirit and the like) most of my collection (which is in alphabetical order by graphic artist) are albums by Arno, Bilal, Comés, Christin, Franquin, Gimenez, Lauzier, Manara(!) and so forth.
Quick estimate - less than 500 books.
No problem.
Unfortunately, I don't have an exact number, but I could probably give you a run for your money.
