I think we all could use positive motivation. :bolian:

Post a quote, image or video that inspires you and hopefully inspires others! :)

Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.

Leo Buscaglia

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.

Thomas A. Edison

Oh! My personal favorite...

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Walt Disney

The measure of who we are is what we do with what we have.

Vince Lombardi

"Trying is the first step toward failure."
- Homer Simpson

Okay, seriously...

"...Though much is taken, much abides; and though
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are,
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield."

- Tennyson

"Learn to hide your strikes from your opponent and you'll more easily strike his hide.

"He who questions training only trains himself at asking questions."

"When you doubt your powers, you give power to your doubts."

"I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it." Groucho Marx

Other Yogi-isms I'm quite fond of:

- When you come to a fork in the road, take it.
- It ain't over till it's over.
- You can observe a lot just by watching.
- Always go to other people's funerals. Otherwise they won't go to yours.
- It's deja vu all over again.
- 90% of life is half mental.

"Work well and harder, or I will bring everything you've ever cared about before you and destroy it. If it is a person, I will make the destruction long and painful and also as close to fatally embarrassing as I can. If it is a thing, I will completely twist its purpose into a sick parody of your intentions. Now, WORK."

Seems like it would motivate, but it isn't in keeping with the rest here, somehow.

"The appearance of things change according to the emotions, and thus we see magic and beauty in them, while the magic and beauty are really in ourselves."

"And forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare
feet and the winds long to play with your hair."

--Khalil Gibran

Who said that?

"No amount of belief makes something a fact." --James Randi.

"Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to reform." --Mark Twain
