So this weekend, Queen Elizabeth II is celebrating her Platinum Jubilee: 70 years on the throne, a first for a British monarch. (Note that the anniversary was actually in February, but they are just celebrating it now... who wouldn't rather have a celebration in the lovely June weather, rather than February!
)
So let's celebrate the occasion! Your entry in this contest can be any image of Elizabeth II, from any time in her life.
Standard avatar rules apply: a maximum of 200 x 200 pixels, and 1 MB in size, and all entries must be SFW. (I'm assuming there are no NSFW images out there, but just restating the rule for consistency.) No fictional depictions are allowed, it must actually be Elizabeth II in real life. You can use media images from news coverage, documentaries and such, but nothing else. Each entrant may enter up to two entries. Contest will be open for about a week.
Have fun!

So I know what you're thinking: Hey, AA, I've seen some of your posts in the Maple Leaf Lounge, I thought you were anti-monarchy? Yes, that's true: I feel that the monarchy should be abolished as an institution, and especially think that we should move on from the Crown as our head of state in Canada. But Elizabeth II is generally beloved all over the world, and how often can someone say they've held the same job for 70 years? So I thought it was OK to celebrate the occasion, even if I am opposed to the institution that is being celebrated. Insert quote about contradictions and multitudes as appropriate.
