Contest: ENTER Misc. Avatar Contest: A Label Avatar For my Netlabel-SOON

OK I have a net label / website and google group called "SOON." I need a picture about the size of an avatar for representing this label. simple label for my label. We have had other ways of using soon ... like SoOn you know we are So On etc. just going on like that many different ideas have been used but never a label and the label has been kinda dormant for about 2 or so years now... IDK if this will breed new life into the label but yeah,.. just now I see that it was designed in 2008 as a group that had some.. music posts then we went to the website. we bought the web address and set up a server for the website I think with go-daddy maybe. I can build it up again I think .-. and I will with a spectacular avatar ...right? I am going to try to do something.. too. IDK I did not have any ideas for our music label. but mmmm maybe?

Topic for the Avatar is SOON yep what does that mean or how is that represented - as an avatar..

Entries may be no larger than 200x200 pixels and/or 1 Mb data, no NSFW images are allowed, and fictional/dramatized media is excluded. Two entries per user.

Entries may be used on the soonlabel.com website. and might revive the whole label or not. right now, there is no "front page" for the website.

Hi @think ,

My apologies, but I feel I have to ask. I’m not really familiar with a netlabel, so I’m just wondering, is this for commercial purposes? I’m just concerned we might be getting into a legal grey area if there is a commercial aspect involved. If not, then I don’t see a problem, but if there is, I may need to do some further investigation to try to make sure there are no issues.

nope it says .com you are right just we don't sell our music / anything never have there was something about getting the .net label that we could not ... IDK I did not buy the web address years ago... dag if I remember what that reason was... ?? we are all about .. creative commons even people can use our songs to make their own songs... something happened with the thing where we post and ... it changed the way to do it so we drifted away from the whole site but it is up I guess. ?

As the contest runner, you get to set the time limit. Typically, I think we usually have them open for a week or so, but you can have it longer if you wish.

I am hoping to put in some entries... I have a couple ideas, I'm just not sure if I'll be able to realize them or not. And this week is shaping up to be really busy, so I'm not entirely sure when I will be able to attempt them.

Hmm... it might be best to go with a specific time? Some contests don't ever get 4 or 5 people, and it probably wouldn't be a good idea just to leave the one contest open indefinitely.

Just my opinion, though. Maybe some others will offer their opinions, too.
