Misc AV CONTEST: Lurid/Trashy Paperback Covers

Paperback mysteries, detective and crime stories, adventure stories, trashy romance, and just good old-fashioned sex. What lurid, sensationalistic paperback cover do you think would make a good avatar?

Let's stick to paperback books -- no magazine or comic covers. Nothing with sci-fi, fantasy or supernatural themes. And no out-and-out porn.

I'll start the ball rolling with this one:

Mine. Hope it works. :)

Oh, man. I have thousands of lurid Pulp magazine covers, but not many paperbacks. And they're mostly SF or Fantasy. At least Mystery fiction is allowed. :rommie:

i can't get rid of the white on the sides
It's hardly noticeable, but if you have Photoshop you can crop one pixel at a time.

Btw, does this have to be a book cover? Cause I have an album cover that looks like the cover of a bad romance novel.
The showrunner wants to stick with paperback books.
If it looks enough like a paperback cover that I can't tell the difference, it's kosher.

Is it me or does it look like Lindsay Lohan?

I thought the same thing if you read above. It is strange though.
Pure coincidence, I'm sure. Apparently it's a story about a young Hollywood hopeful who likes Chinese food.
This seems pretty cheesy...

Did our friend Iguana Tonante belong to this outfit?

Ok, thanks scotpens. The only difference would be the dimensions as a paperback is taller than an album cover. It's the content that matter, right?

I'll put it up and if you don't want to accept it, that's fine.

Sorry, but I'm afraid I'll have to disqualify that one. The source is a sci-fi paperback titled Sin in Space. Sounds like fun, but the contest rules specifically say no science fiction.

Cute babe, though. She reminds me of a young Ann-Margret.
