Mirror Universe problems

I noticed that too...the problem being that Fontaine responds to being called Vic, though I suppose there's some wiggle room there.

Didn't the Shatnerverse MU trilogy wind up offering an explanation for why the two universes were connected so closely? And I thought that Mirror Vic was an android. Didn't he have smoking machinery inside him when he was shot? Or was that just his burnt flesh smoking?

It looked like a standard Trek disruptor burn to me. No sparking or anything.

Fontaine reacted mostly to being confronted with two Ferengi he thought were dead. It's not like he said "That's my name, don't wear it out" :rommie"

Huh. Years after the fact I'm suddenly finding opinions on the DS9 MU episodes that are the complete opposite of my own... :)

I'd think even in a worst-case scenario people would have to give some props to Crossover, but I wonder whether some might be unhappy with that one because of what it does with Kirk's final speech to MU Spock.
Meh. It's not even that, for me. I didn't like "Mirror, Mirror" itself, either. I thought the whole thing was ridiculous from the start.

Again, YMMV. :rommie:

That just means multiple Kirks ended up in multiple MUs back in the day.

Heck, if you incorporate the novels there seem to be at least three distinct "mirror universes".

It's all 'put your brain in neutral' stuff anyway. The fact that every time we dip into this fantasy some characters are already dead, some dead characters are still alive, blah blah blah ensures that any continuum of this 'universe' would have already ended up completely and utterly different from the Trek one.
