Mirror Universe in DS9/VOY-What if...?

Suppose the Terran Empire survived long into the 24th Century? Imagine if the K-C Alliance never came to?

How do you think events in DS9 and VOY would've played out had that been the case? In VOY, I could imagine the ISS Voyager being the second most feared vessel in the empire (next to Enterprise).
And DS9 could've been an important Imperial Headquarters.

The ISS Voyager would be leading an Armada to conquer the Delta Quadrant. DS9 would be a prison for traitors and enemy races. (Probably the Cardassians and later members of the Dominion) The Bajorans would be allies of the Empire. (Enemy of my enemy) The prison is run by Commandant Sisko. The wormhole is a beachhead for the conquest of the Gamma Quadrant.

And Sisko would execute Intendent Kira in order to take over DS9, I'd imagine.

Slightly OT, but I had an idea a while back for a series that would have had a Federation ship (Enterprise G)bouncing around parallel realities as a result of a botched experiment with a new propulsion technology and trying to find it's way home. Sort of ST:VOY meets Sliders. One possible episode would have them meeting their counterparts from a "Mirror" universe where the Empire never fell.
