Miranda Class - Are these phasers?

Nope they are the same color yellow as the phasers and they also have a red pin strip around them. You maybe thinking of the Enterprise-D which did have orange thrusters at the beginning of TNG they were latter changed to yellow too.

I definitely remember orange decals on one or more of the AMT models, but it's been too long to remember which one(s).

Yes sir that was the enterprise-D model when it first came out.

Voyager had darker ochre thrusters, they weren't yellow like the TMP ship.
