Milestone Posts

Ok this is my 1000th post after spending a year and 22 days with TrekBBS. I thought i'd make this topic, because I think will be interesting to see what people have to say on the subject of their milestone posts.

Can you remember any of your milestone stones and if you can perhaps post a link to them or quote them in your reply. For some of the long time members, it would be cool to see their first ever posts, if they can retrieve or remember them!

I think my first post ever was in the Voyager forum, but I honestly have no idea. It was 11 years ago!

My earliest posts are long, long gone and I doubt they're retrievable in any form. One of them, I know, was a thread posted in the DS9 forum, asking a question about why the names Daneeka, McWatt, Snowden, Orr and Moodus turn up in the episode "Paradise Lost". Another post, possibly my first, involved telling Kor he was wrong about something and explaining why (with predictable results.)

I don't even remember any of my milestone posts I just checked earlier this evening and I'm fast approaching the 7000 post mark. I think I'll make Vice Admiral by next winter.

Since postcounts aren't shown in our regular posts, I have no idea how many posts I have, so I don't notice any of the "milestone" posts. And I never bother to check my own profile. For all I know, I could have 200 posts, or 2000 posts.


Just checked, and I'm at 1052 (well, now 1053) posts, so I guess I just missed one.

I have so much free time, and no life, that I've made 32,276 in less than 5 and a 1/2 years. I can't even remember my first post, or ANY "milestone" posts.

I've only got 2,782 posts in about 9 years of membership. I'm quite happy with this.

I think I may have been registered before that under a different name but I can't really remember.
