Perhaps you may not realize it, but Cirroc Lofton and Ryan Husk are doing another "Virtual Trek Con."

One of their panels is an interview of Lower Decks' Mike McMahon. He speaks postively on a number of subjects relevant to Deep Space Nine, namely:

• The incorporation of more themes relevant to DS9 in the second season of Lower Decks. He describes the first season as "TNG's greatest hits." The second season will deal with more themes and references to DS9
• The desire to get onto the station more in future seasons.
• The desire to have Mariner come into contact with Quark in a significant way.

Regardless of the news, McMahon proved to be very knowledgeable about Star Trek.
