Middleman DVD release summer of '09

It was a great show. Hope it comes back. You just have to go into it expecting a comedy as opposed to a scifi show.
 
Well, I hope the DVDs sell well enough to warrant a movie or some direct-to-DVD installments. It just wouldn't be the same without Morales and Keeslar. I came across the trade-paperback collection of the original comics a few weeks back and was tempted, but chose not to buy it, partly because the characters just didn't look right to me. A redheaded Wendy and a pale-blond Middleman? No thank you. The writing and concepts were fun, but it was the Morales/Keeslar team who really made it special.

I hope that the finale graphic novel at least uses the TV cast's likenesses.
 
Oh, that's a pretty good cover. Although I'd be happier if it said "The Complete First Season" instead. They should've renewed the show!

I even named my cat Winona* Watson (Winny, DubDub or Dubby for short)

*Great-Grandmother on mother's side was Winona, but still got the triple sided geek reference thing going on: Star Trek reference(Winona Kirk/Winona Rider as Spock's Mom), Middleman reference(Wendy 'DubDub/Dubby' Watson), Farscape reference(Crichton's pulse pistol)

I think it would be ironic if they labeled the set "The Final Season" - just to rub ABC Family's nose in it, if nothing else. Gotta say, I'm happy to see Wendy Watson in a catsuit again ... :D

("The Middle Season" would be just peachy, though :bolian: )
