Michael Jayston has died

Surprised nobody has posted this yet. Michael Jayston, who played the Valeyard, has passed away at the age of 88.

Nice that this obit does mention Who, especially given what a varied career he had.

I've only seen him as The valeyard, but he definitely gave a memorable performance. RIP

Lovely actor.

He and Gwen Taylor were by far the highlights of A Bit Of A Do and he was excellent in The Last Confession.

Nice that we got to see him a few times on blu-ray extras the last few years.
