Michael Jackson's Ghost spotted on Larry King Live

From the many hours of watching Jason and Grant de-bunking on Ghost Hunters, it appears to be a shadow. There is a long bank of windows in that hallway and the bright lights they were using may have caused some reflections. Still, it freaked me out the first time.

There's another video where you get more explanation of the effects.

This is a great example of how music can make a scene.

It literally gave me goosebumps.

Yeah watched that yesterday afternoon and while it is fascinating it kind of looks fake. I remember watching that live and didn't catch it.

How'd that ghost get in there with all the kid proof locks on the doors???

You know--your obsession with Michael Jackson's alleged pedophilia is more than just tiresome--it's becoming positively creepy.

In my experience, people only fixate on these kinds of things because of their own deeply-repressed sexual urges.

Some of the most violent and obsessive homophobes in our society, for example, are in fact extremely repressed homosexuals, who are unable to cope with their own egodystonic sexual impulses.

I don't know you, so I can't say how accurate my perception is. But I just thought I should warn you--that is the kind of perception you're creating. Since I seriously doubt it's the one you want to create.

Back on topic--

That is a fascinating clip, and shows just how an ambiguous image can lead people to jump to all sorts of far-fetched conclusions.

In his writings, the Scottish common-sense philosopher Thomas Reid stressed the difference between a sensation and a perception. A perception, he said, is a sensation combined with a judgment.

In this case, obviously, the same sensation combined with different judgments leads to different perceptions. Or, upon further examination, different sensations encourage different judgments.

Contrary to popular opinion, our eyes never play tricks on us. As Reid said: "Strictly speaking, there is no fallacy in the senses."

Instead, our minds play tricks on themselves--and then blame their own mistakes on our eyes--another false judgment. In many ways, the mind is our least reliable organ.

Oh my god, I saw A SHADOW of a guy walking out of frame!!!

It couldn't be Michael Jackson's ghost. If it were, it would be walking backwards.

Idolizing a pedophile is what's really creepy.

It's also creepy how people and the press can idolize a guy that diddles little boys but totally trash a woman who lives her life by wholesome values.

So now we have him as a ghost. Some people say they see his face in a tree. Wonder what's next. I'll go check ebay.

Some kid told me that Ronald Reagan diddled kids. Of course, this hasn't been proven in court but I'm going to run with it.

Ronald Reagan diddled kids.

I don't idolize pedophiles, or trash women who live their lives by wholesome values, so this reply means nothing to me.

In fact, I'm not even sure exactly who you thought you were replying to here.

In any case--this is a classic example of a tu quoque fallacy.
