Michael Jackson/TOS connection

Yeah, I remember there was a cut scene on Trekhistory.com of the Gorgon giving the kids Jesus Juice.

MJ sang in a high voice and so did Reilly in "The Naked Time."

Peace and well-being to MJ's family, though, seriously.

What is the point of this OP?

Check out the video of the 1991 song "Black or white" - incredible video, and partly filmed at Vasquez rocks, the real life location of about half a dozen TOS episodes.

If this is going down the wrong path Mallory, shut it down, with my apologies:alienblush:
I'm not sure thats much of a connection as much as a coincidence. Unless you're talking about one of those 20 degree's of separation games, in which case you can connect Stargate to Star Trek through Richard Dean Anderson, MacGuyver, and MacGuyver has had footage at Vasquez Rocks

That is pretty cool; thanks. :)

I had forgotten about that until I saw the video last night on MTV. The Video, especially where the faces begin to merge, is still pretty cool, IMO.

However, some of the comments in this thread defy definition. I can only shake my head in pity at some of them. I had hoped that Star Trek attracted a better 'minded' fanbase. I was wrong.

I clicked that Vasquez Rocks link and Wiki is saying that this location was also used in nuTrek. I tried to scan the nuTrek article to see where they reference Vasquez but it's a long article and I cannot read it. What part of the movie was filmed at that location...the young kirk scene...it's gotta be that.

^Vulcan.

And Vasquez Rocks appeared in countless American films from the silent era to modern day. That Jackson once filmed there is hardly remarkable. In fact, it would probably be even more remarkable if he'd never filmed there.

This is the only connection I can think of.

Joe, rude

I think we're far too late for that.

The internet is for the snark for the sake of being snarky.
