I just came across this "news item" from April Fools day. Surprised no mentioned here, even in jest. Then again I just stumbled upon it so maybe the site doesn't get that much traffic by BBS'ers.

April Fools news items like these have no redeemable quality or substance because we all know The Flash has not been formally announced yet. Yes, Greg Berlanti has been floating around as a possible contender for director, but this project had confirmed directors in the past and it crumpled back to development hell. We'd need at the very least to see a confirmation of director or some sort of intent before anyone could buy casting rumors or announcements. Some people just don't know how to sell a good joke these days!
