Merlin on BBC1 (SPOILERS)

dunno, but it's definitely interesting to learn what was between Uther and Nimueh and that sword's certainly got a role to play!

I've just been thinking the real reason they've not stuck to the legend at all could very well be to keep us guessing, rather than to insult anyone's intelligence or lazy writing as some people are thinking.

I wonder if the sword has a name? ;)

Good episode, nice revelations about just why Uther hates magic so much, and I have to admit I actually though they might kill Uther...I also had a fear Uther was going to kill Gaius at one point.

And hooray, Alexander Siddig next week!!

Maybe the title of the episode had something to do with the name of the sword?

Yeah, it was nice to see why Uther hates magic, and it was nice to see some spark of a different side of him.
I thought the same thing, I knew they wouldn't, but I couldn't help but think it.

Yeah, it's nice to see Sid in something again.

Alexander Siddig looked fantastic in this weeks episode.

I guess we must be heading towards the end of this now.

Is Giles going to survive the season, he must die so Arthur can become king.

I'd think he'll survive, and probably be killed off some time next series.
I thought it was a shame they didn't allow Arthur to find out now, and show that he could be a real friend, but I guess that's an end to the major "shh" aspect of the story.

I thought Siddig was good, it'd be cool to see him have a big role in something again.

the cast all have multi-season contracts except Richard Wilson, who apparently is only signing on a season-by-season basis, according to the RT when this began.

jeez, doesn't anyone else read RT any more?

Who uses magaazines any more with searchable epgs and t'net?

Thought this week's ep was ok despite a fairly predictable Maginificent 7/ 7 Samurai storyline, I didn't see Merlin's friend dying though.

Nice to see Siddig, felt his role could have been a bit bigger mind you.
