Beautifully done! I certainly enjoy all the digital work here, but it's nice to see traditional media as well. You really captured the markings! The limbs are slimmer than what was depicted in the Filmation episode, but it's reasonable to assume there might be several breeds of Le Matya. This might be the Vulcan equivalent of a cheetah. Or, it could be sexual dimorphism with one gender being bulkier than the other.

Sincerely,

Bill

Or a simple matter of age. Just like people, younger ones are slimmer and gain muscle as they mature.

Daww Cute green vulcan kitty :3

Be careful, they like to eat mice. Or rats. Or... Whatever rodentia or musteline you are. Especially the green ones. Sojourner should watch out too.

I've got to say it's extremely refreshing to see the non-sentient species getting some attention for a change, it's usually space ships, and Spock/Kirk slash or mpreg imagery these days. You did a really nice job there.

Im a mouse just no mousey Whiskers ^_^;

A very nice update of the TAS design. Looks much more like a desert predator. But I think the tibia and metatarsals are a bit too short. That squat looks sort of awkward.

you would be correct if this was an earth based feline, and not an alien organism with no ties to our terran organisms. First thing I usually do when I think of proportions on an organisms, is look how animals here on earth are only in proportioned unto themselves. Meaning that a Squid is proportioned to a squid, and even then, tremendous variation exists. Now Cat proportions are unique to them, as when compared to say dogs, they are similar, but by no means the same. The Le-Matya represented here is proportioned as to how I envisioned its proportions would/could possibly be, based on it being an alien, that is similar to a cat, but definitely not. Thanks for the comment mate, btw, I am a great fan of your work mate :)
