Memories of UPN?

^

The OP asked for memories of UPN, that's my memory of UPN. It was the channel to tune to if ya wanted to watch any kind of Star Trek, even before it was UPN.

I remember always watching my "pre" UPN affliate all the time because it was the home to Star Trek TNG and DS9 and other shows like Babylon 5 for a time. It was like my go-to channel growing up. Now as the CW, I almost forgot the number that the station was on. I would love it if it went back to being an individual, home to cool sci fi shows, channel but that's never going to happen. Those were good times though, the 90s.

I did watch that Amish in the city thing but besides that it was just voyager. UPN is also the reason why i am a voyager fan because it was the only thing on tv that i wanted to watch, i think i was around the age of 11.

being heavily involved in Motorsports, and Monster Trucks in particular, I vividly remember the utter embarrassment that was the failed pilot of Monster Trux 2000 from 1999. Staged racing, fake character owners, and wrestling style plot-lines. it was very depressing, disgusting, and sickening. It was a water-shed moment for Monster Trucks(not in a good way), and has had long lasting repercussions.
I dont think I watched anything on UPN after that until the Voyager series finale.

as for the rest, I enjoyed 7 Days and The Sentential. I watched the first handful of episodes of Enterprise and then moved to a place that didnt have a UPN and didnt miss it any.
I didnt catch Jake 2.0 until SciFi aired it.

One thing I did like about UPN is that they gave a lot of chances to various sci-fi shows like The Sentinel, Seven Days (a guilty pleasure of mine), Jake 2.0, etc. Most of them didn't last, unfortunately, but I appreciated that they gave them a shot.
