Now just think about some of the movies that got shunted straight to streaming, while THIS gets an Exclusively in Theaters push. 
Plus, worth noting that this was directed by Brett Ratner. I really thought he was thankfully gone for good after the sexual allegations and the eventual running away to Israel. Maybe being relegated to dogshit like this is a form of punishment.
