meeting your Mirror Universe double

Temis the Vorta

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
Let's say you meet your MU double. What's your gut instinct?

I'd avoid the person. The idea of having a double plays havoc with my sense of individuality and would severely creep me out.

And I don't think I'd find it too difficult to kill my double, if necessary. I'd have a reason, since that person would be evil, right? But my fundamental motive for homicide might be different, namely removing a threat to my sense of individuality.

My gut instinct would be panic, since I'd think it was my doppelganger, which would mean I was soon going to die!

Well since I am the evil power hungry one. I guess I would kill him so I will be one step closer to all powerfull. Then I would kick Jet Li's ass.

Ever did role play!

Well, since I consider myself a pretty cool and nice person, I assume that my MU would be uncool and mean, and would probably want to do away with me. That is totally unacceptable situation, so, I may be forced to off my MU double. It kinds of remindes me of the DS-9 episode Visionary when The Chief see himself getting killed, a couple of times. Kind of weird but nesassary...

There doesn't seem much reason for my double to kill me. It's not like I work in a critical defence position or a very high paying job. It might come to a scuffle if the guy is a bigger jerk then I am.

Most likely we'd sit and compare notes of the differences between our two universes.

Assuming the MU is, y'know, 'evil' rather than 'opposite', my double and I'd probably cooperate to seize power (assuming she didn't have all she wanted already; I think I'd make a good barbarian.)

My mirror would be a flaming liberal loser and I'd probably have to kill him to maintain my own sanity.

My mirror would be a self righteous conservative cock and I'd probably have to kill him to maintain my own sanity.

Since I am evil, my counterpart would be a mild-mannered doofus, which I could easily dispose of and then rise to power in his world.

I'd have to say my Mirror Universe counterpart would have to be a good guy as well. If I had the same career I'd be cheered... thats a creepy thought. But I'd most likely be working in a cubicle, 9-5 type job, only consume soft drinks and going home to my wife and kids at the end of the day to sign hymns.

He'd probably like James Blunt as well. I'd have to beat him to death with his own shoe.
