Meet the Characters of Star Trek: Picard

@Mondragon , you need to go back and read my post. The threads got merged from a combination of your having created all three at once and having provided practically no text content in the opening posts. There’s no policy against those characters getting their own threads if somebody wants to put some thought into it.

If your intent was to post thoughts on the actors...that’s what you should have opened with.

You also don’t appear to understand what hotlinking is. That’s posting embedded images by linking directly to an outside site, like Wiki or Memory Alpha. This steals their bandwidth. If you want to embed images, you need to host them on your own web space or an image hosting site like imgur, and link from there. Otherwise, don’t use the photo embedding option at all and just provide URL links to the photos.

If you have further comments or questions, please send them via private message rather than posting them here.

The new characters are really good so far. Looking forward to meeting Rios and Elnor and learning more about Raffi.

That's the Saurian brandy bottle I mentioned earlier.

Rios' drink is actually Pisco, Andean (Chilean/Peruvian) alternative to a then Spanish type brandy , yet made with the local Andean fruit.
Although what he orders from the replicator is "Aguardinete" literarily means 'fire-water', which the replicator then defaults (likely by Rios' design) to Pisco.:D

I can better comment on this now that we've actually seen some of the series.
Interesting very loose recurring parallels between the four main new rogue crew members of La Sirena.
and the characters of Gene Roddenberry's original 1964 StarTrek pitch:
Side by side bellow.

I can see Rios as "Jose Ortegas". The match-up fits pretty well, actually.

I can maybe see Elnor as the "Mr. Spock". Maybe. I still need to see more.

But Musiker and Jurati aren't like "Number One" or "Colt" at all. Mainly because Musiker and Jurati are actual characters whereas Gene Roddenberry's descriptions of "Number One" and "Colt" sound more like whoever he was lusting after when he wrote those descriptions.
