Meatloaf Music Video

I'm trying to think of a music video featuring... :sigh: Meatloaf.

I know, I know. He does have a couple or so good songs. Anyway, I'm trying to think of the name of the video to one of him songs featuring him pounding at the piano looking all greasy and sweaty and angsty like the evening after his Thanksgiving dinner.

I think that's it.

Awesome video, one of the few Meat Loaf songs I really like, great video and I like the Beauty and the Beast/Phantom vibes from it and it brings on the eternal question on what is "that." That video, however, doesn't have the image that is seared into my memory of him pounding at the piano with sweat and grease dripping off his body like a Hardees cheeseburger deep-fried in motor oil.

But, that's an awesome, awesome video. They just don't make music videos like that anymore.

And one of the best Literal Videos.

Are you thinking of I Would Do Anything For Love...directed by the brilliant Michael Bay?

I may be. And, yeah the video is fairly brilliant. I'll give Bay due credit for being able to do the occasionaly well-made music video. But whenever something is going to be longer than few minutes, has a budget of over 100-million dollars or calls for an explosion the guys loses his shit.

None of the songs from Bat Out of Hell I really liked, though "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" is decent enough, that video isn't what I was thinking of. I think I was thinking of "I'll Do Anything For Love" and I just remembered some details wrong.

You know, if they ever do a movie about Meat Loaf, he should be played by Jack Black.

You're not actually suggesting this video is brilliant, are you;

It almost proves how unoriginal Bay really is. Here's a music video that was filmed 17 years ago, and yet contains every single trick and gimmick that Bay still uses to this day in every one of his movies! :lol:

Yeah, but there's a difference between an 8-minute music video and a 3-hour movie. And, yeah, I really like that video.

So... is it safe to admit I really like Meat Loaf's "It's All Coming Back to Me Now" duet? (can't get to YouTube here, sadly)

I have to say I like it, but then I just love Meatloaf so nothing he does is bad for me :P
